Attack on Jimma Grand Mosque - Perverted story from the Missionaries!

Posted on March 30th, 2007 in General, News, Opinion, Politics, Religion by negashi

Earlier Negashi OJ brought to its readers the news of  a fuitile attempt to attack the Jimma grand mosque on Monday 26.03.07 by an “instrument” of the fundamentalist Christian Missionaries.

However, Christian Missionaries are not ashamed of pointing fingers towards Muslims. A groups which closed itself with a noble name ”Human Right Group” and based in Washington DC - International Christian Concern - claimed that “Ethiopian Christian evangelist named Tedase was beaten to death by militant Muslims on Monday, March 26th, as he and two young women preached on the streets in the town of Jimma”. Attacking Muslims and blaming them back has lately become a well known strategy of the Missionaries in their strive to blackmail Muslims thereby get the help of the politicians in the hope that they may reach the objective they failed to realize in their centuries old effort (to eliminate Muslims and their faith). Deception has become their pristine means to comfort themselves with. How sad they are unwilling to submit to their failure and realize that no matter how hard they try to eliminate the Light of Allah (Islam), it is HIS Will that it exists and subdue all that stands on its way.

“Fain would they put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light however much the disbelievers are averse.” Q061:008

Below are the report of US based “Head Missionary Organisation” - International Christian Concern.

Archaeologists find Ethiopia’s lost Islamic kingdom

Posted on March 29th, 2007 in General, History, News, Religion by negashi

PARIS (AFP)– French archaeologists said on Tuesday that they had uncovered the remains of three large towns that may have been the heart of a legendary Islamic kingdom in Ethiopia.

Ancient manuscripts have long told of the kingdom of Shoa, which between the 10th and 16th centuries straddled key trade routes between the Christian highlands and Muslim ports on the Red Sea. But Shoa’s precise place on the map has never been clear.

The National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) said a team of archaeologists had laid bare the remains of three mediaeval towns, Asbari, Masal and Nora, on a high escarpment of the Rift Valley.

Shoa — also written as Shewa — was an autonomous state from about the 10th century until it was absorbed by the sultanate of Ifat at around the end of the 13th century.

The three towns “may have constituted the heart of the Shoa Muslim kingdom before it came under Ifat’s political control,” the researchers, led by the CNRS’ Francois-Xavier Fauvelle, suggest.

I knew this child who is sixteen years old.  I was impressed how smart he was I decided to help him financially by getting him to a good school.  He got the opportunity to take the entrance exam at the Cathedral School in Addis Ababa.   He did well and he was accepted.  He has been going to the Cathedral School for the last two and a half years.  I closely follow his progress at his school and he has been doing very well.  His grades so far have been As and Bs.  He took the 10 th grade exam last May/June and did very well and moved on to  the 11th grade.

At least 6 Muslims killed in Jimma Zone

Posted on March 4th, 2007 in General, News, Politics, Religion by negashi

In the name of Allah - the Merciful, the Compassionate!
Asselam Alaykum werahmatullah We Berekatuhu!

I announced my come back last time after disappearing for nearly three months. While making my self ready to share with you what I was not able in these memorable and busy three months, there came another problem for which reason I had to stay away for more days. With the grace of Allah these difficulties are now history and Negashi OJ will try to render its usual service.

< < ~~~ >>

In the weeks and months when nothing could be read or listened on Negashi OJ, lots of happenings took place in and around Ethiopia that are of agreat importance to us, Ethiopians in general and Muslims in particular. The situation in Somalia was and is without doubt the one that takes the first possible rank in a series of events. What else could come as a surprise than the disappearance the “glorious” UIC in a matter of days - just like dust blown by a mighty wind? I believe that that many of us have taken note of the quite useful points that came out from this event. Negashi will share his own in due time, insha Allah.

Within Ethiopia, the situations for Muslims has not been changed to the better, if it hasn’t gone from bad to worse. The situation in Jimma Zone which reached its climax towards the end of September, 2006 remained tense. Both within the court room and outside Muslims are, as always, dimed to be guilty for being victims and for not willfully accepting all what is to be laid on them.

The court that was established to look into the September-November incident that left many dead and displaced sentenced seven Muslims to death and the rest to prison ranging down from life-time imprisonment. While doing so, the court denied Muslims the right to defend themselves or appeal against the decision it handed over. They were told that the decision had come from higher authorities and their going for appeal will not bring any thing new. While this is the case for Muslims, nothing has been heard about those fanatic and fundamentalist Christians who had ignited the problem in the first place.

Rather encouraged by the backing they are recieving from the authorities to do every thing they want against Muslims and Islam in Ethiopia, these fanatic and fundamentalists Christians of the region (and in other corners of the cauntry) are arming themselves both in moral and material to launch their onslaughter on Muslims. According to a report Negashi received, at least six people (three men and three women) were killed and eight others wounded last week near Agaro town (Dembi). All the attackers escaped safely.

There was a reported claim from police of Limmu Genet town  that one of the attackers is in their custody. Muslims rejected the claim as false, however. It is taken as a method too often used by the authorities to cheat Muslims and calm down their anger; buy time to reign on them.

According to another unconfirmed report coming from the same area, eight Muslims were poisoned and died instantly. The circumstances that led to their death or the poison they ate is still unknown.
