About
The writers on N E G A S H I - OJ, are among the many curious Ethiopian Muslims who don’t seem to agree to a certain extent with the way Ethiopia and Ethiopians are presented to the world and to its people. N E G A S H I - OJ will try to analyse happenings from the point of view of ordinary Ethiopians and thereby tries to complement at times and correct at other what is partly or wrongly attributed to Ethiopia and Ethiopians. N E G A S H I - OJ will primarily focus on the issues that are of relevance to Ethiopian Muslims.
As the current state of affairs of Ethiopian Muslims has direct relation to their history, part of the journal will be spent on the history of Ethiopian Muslims and Islamic history of Ethiopia.
N E G A S H I - OJ will use all available sources of information particularly the World Wide Web. When such materials appear on N E G A S H I - OJ, they are meant to increase the awareness of its readers and/or keep them up-to-dated with the development of happenings. The original sources of info., to be made clear with each postings, will therefore remain to be the sole owners as well as responsible for the contents of the materials.
N E G A S H I - OJ, as stated above, focuses on affairs that are of (direct or indirect) interest to the Muslim community both as Ethiopian and religious entity. The journal will thus present as diverse subjects as History, Ethiopian Political, Social and Economic Affairs, Islam and Muslims, News, Analysis, Opinions …
This is just the view of N E G A S H I - OJ on how it can be of use for its readers. However, the ultimate reality about its contribution will depend on how you readers experience it and how much feedback you provide. One way to make this possible is by actively participating in commenting the materials N E G A S H I - OJ carries. The other and the usual way is in fact by directly contacting the reporters or the owner and share us what your view is about the services rendered by it.
N E G A S H I - OJ is highly indebted for the Network of Ethiopia Muslims for provided us the space and for allowing the journal to function with full autonomy.
Finally, the work group would like to clarify that the opinions expressed and analysis made are that of the particular contributor and/or editor. They do not necessarily represent the opinion of any organisation, community or even the the working group as a whole.
God bless you and thank you your visit!

Aselamu Alykum,
Hope this reaches you with good health and Eman.
Thank you for the wonderful N E G A S H I - OJ is Network that you’ve put together.
MashaAallah….. Amazing… May Allah bless you all and guide you to the right direction. Would love to share the following with you ……..
Best love one can have is the love of Allah / God. Any other love has to be based on that. Think POSITIVE and FACE the truth: ALLAH SWT / GOD IS THE TRUTH. Respect each other, ask of what you do not understand, we simply try to LIVE for Allah’s / God’s sake. EGO is human worst enemy [as it comes from THE WORST ENEMY: Satan himself] Thank you.
Best Regards,
